Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

Straufi is a platform that lets you create, backtest, deploy, and monitor automated trading strategies for cryptocurrencies, all without writing any code. Our visual builder makes algorithmic trading accessible to everyone, from beginners with a simple idea to experienced traders who want to automate their approach.
No coding experience is needed at all. Straufi's visual builder uses drag-and-drop blocks to create trading logic. If you can think through a strategy, you can build it. While some basic knowledge of trading concepts is helpful, our platform is designed to be intuitive for users of all levels.
We currently support Binance, with Coinbase and Kraken integrations coming very soon. We're continuously working to expand our exchange support to give you the most flexibility.
Straufi never has direct access to your funds. We use read-and-trade-only API keys from your exchange, we cannot withdraw or transfer your assets under any circumstances. Your funds remain securely on your exchange at all times.
Backtesting is the process of testing your trading strategy against historical market data. It shows you how your strategy would have performed in the past, including returns, drawdowns, win rates, and risk metrics. This helps you evaluate and refine your strategy before committing real capital.
Paper trading simulates real market conditions without using actual money: it's a risk-free sandbox to validate that your strategy works as expected in live markets. Live trading connects to your exchange and executes real orders with real funds. We always recommend starting with paper trading first.
